The aim of this course is to provide disability equality practitioners with formal recognition of their skills in operating at independent consultant level in their field; course content builds upon existing knowledge and develops practice skills, enabling the student to meet the increasingly complex demands relating to disability equality consultancy; all students on this course bring a sound knowledge of disabled people's experience of disability, together with an understanding of the strategies designed to address discrimination; the examination and exploration of the student's own experiences provide a rich source of discussion and debate; it is an excellent starting point for the development and evaluation of innovative solutions to a range of complex challenges.
