Bank of England offers postgraduate internship and sponsorship opportunities

The Bank of England is offering students attractive professional work experiences and postgraduate funding for students studying economics and/or finance and have in interest in working for the Bank.  Those who are selected will be offered full sponsorship of their MSc/MPhil fees (or 1 year of a 2 year course) and a 6-8 week internship during the summer following graduation. Position offers to join the Bank will be made to outstanding performers at the end of the summer, accompanied by a payment of £11,250 for living expenses. This scheme is subject to a number of conditions which will be made clear when a sponsorship offer is made.

Students will organize a project during their summer internship and will also have the opportunity to attend high-profile meetins within the banking, economy, and finance sectors.  Regular social events also highlight the students internship experience.

Recruitment is aimed at graduates from all degree disciplines with strong analytical and numerical skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. The minimum requirements are a 2:1 and 300 UCAS points from 3 A Levels (exc. General Studies) or equivalent. We are able to accept applications from individuals who require a visa to work in the UK.
