Birmingham Business School rises in FT Global MBA Rankings

The 2010 Financial Times Global MBA rankings has positioned Birmingham Business School’s MBA at 75th in the world, 21st in Europe and 13th in the UK. This illustrates Birmingham’s continued commitment to provide international management expertise across a range of business disciplines.

'This is really good news and reflects the excellent performance of our MBA alumni, continued improvements in the programme and the hard work of Paul Forrester as MBA Director over the past few years,' says Malcolm Kirkup, Director of Full-time MBA programmes. 'We are looking forward to building further on this performance. Given the quality of our students and the new initiatives planned for 2010/11, I am really excited about the future for the Birmingham MBA.'

Whilst a number of UK Business Schools have dropped in the rankings, Birmingham Business School has improved across a number of categories as well as climbing up the rankings by eight places.

Head of School, Professor David Dickinson says, 'The School is very pleased with our ranking position. Through continued performance improvement we are committed to build on the quality of our MBA and for it to remain a leading global programme.'
