The course is designed to provide students with a broad insight into the 3 interconnected areas of information technology, business, and project management; students develop a critical understanding of contemporary tools, techniques and models for systems development; the programme provides students with the opportunity to develop practical skills, using tools and techniques from the forefront of business computing, and use these effectively to model complex organisational systems; it also seeks to promote an awareness of the moral, ethical and professional framework, within which the students operate as an information technology (IT) professional in a business environment.
