Business academics at Loughborough University recognised as world leaders
Professor of International Marketing Anne Souchon, and Professor of Marketing John Cadogan, have been named in a Journal of International Management paper which reviews five decades of business research into exporting. The two academics were included in a power list of the most prolific authors of exporting articles published since 1960 – Professor Souchon ranked 15th in the world and Professor Cadogan ranked at 26th. Professor Souchon, who researches the performance implications of different export decision-making types throughout the world, says, 'It’s fantastic to be recognised in this paper, it’s always nice to have a pat on the back. For the University to also be recognised for its export research is really positive. Professor Souchon continues, 'We’ve recently strengthened our research team in this area and hope to continue to develop our position as a centre of excellence for exporting research.'
