Business schools are preparing for MBA student decline

New statistics reveal that business schools could be facing a 10-15% drop in applications for MBA programmes.

In a recent report from the Financial Times – which covers the 16 full-time MBA programmes that participate in its 2012 rankings – enrolment of UK students is down by 15% and enrolment of overseas students is down by 10%.

Representatives from two of the UK’s top ranked MBA providers – The London Business School and the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School – have said they are prepared for the possibility that there may be a drop in full-time students.
