Energy and Environmental Technology and Economics Institution: City University Faculty: School of Engineering and Mathematical Sciences Department: Engineering Level: Postgraduate Study modes: Part time Course content: This course develops skills in cost-effective management of energy resources and in managing commercial and industrial development within tight environmental constraints, the course provides knowledge of the latest technologies and of the economic and regulatory issues; it addresses the implementation of energy management systems and technologies, including renewables, while recognising the importance of the evolution of the energy supply side; important environmental issues such as those arising from combustion of hydrocarbon fuels for industrial and transport purposes are addressed; modules have economic, management and engineering backgrounds.
