FT ranks IE Business School No. 5 in Europe and No. 1 in Spain

IE Business School - which is based in Madrid - has been ranked No. 5 in Europe and No. 1 in Spain, in the 2009 ranking of European business schools published by the Financial Times.

The annual report is based on the results obtained by leading European business schools in the rankings of MBA programmes, Executive MBAs, masters in management and executive education programs published throughout this year by Financial Times.

The results of the Financial Times´ “ranking of rankings” are based on factors that include graduate salary progression, levels of diversity among faculty and student body, and fulfillment of expectations of students and recruiters.

IE Business School´s position further consolidates results achieved by the Spanish business school this year in international rankings conducted by Wall Street Journal (No. 1 worldwide, MBA), BusinessWeek (No. 2 worldwide, MBA) and Forbes (No. 3 worldwide, MBA).
