Financial Times puts Aston Business School in Europe’s Top 40

Aston Business School (ABS) has climbed sixteen places in the Financial Times (FT) European Business Schools rankings. The overall league table, an amalgam of the FT’s MBA, Executive MBA, Masters in Management and Executive Education rankings, places ABS 31st in Europe - a sixteen place improvement on 2008. It also places the business school 11th in the UK.

Professor Mike West, Executive Dean of ABS says, ‘This ranking confirms that Aston Business School is a leading European business school, with broad strengths across all areas of our postgraduate provision. The rise of sixteen places also illustrates how ABS continues to go from strength to strength, and we look forward to improving further in 2010 and beyond.’

ABS performed particularly strongly in the FT’s MBA rankings, where it came 21st in Europe, and 28th in the Masters in Management league table. Aston has particular strengths in graduate employability and career progression, and is well known for the diversity of its student body and faculty.
