There is a continual demand for individuals who understand the role of design in commercial contexts, and are able to initiate, model, manage, and critically evaluate creative insights into, for, and through design; the course provides an opportunity for students to acquire a breadth of design and commercially relevant knowledge, skills and understanding; the course develops design literate students who are communicators of values; navigators of complexity; integrators of concepts; facilitators of thinking; mediators of stakeholders ; and visualisers of intangibles.
