Environmental Management and Consultancy Institution: Lancaster University Faculty: Science and Technology Department: Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC) Level: Postgraduate Study modes: Full time, Part time Course content: This programme addresses the challenges faced by business managers who need to understand the commercial opportunities that the environment sector offers, as well as the complex regulations which must be complied with and the standards which customers expect; students gain a range of research and commercial skills which are needed for careers in environmental consultancy and the green business sector; core modules are delivered by the Lancaster Environment Centre (LEC) and students take optional modules in the Lancaster University Management School (LUMS); the taught programme provides a mix of theory and practice, including vocational experience and insights via the enterprise and environment module and the optional work placement module; the programme also includes a 6 month research placement where students have the opportunity to put their knowledge and skills to the test by working for a small-medium sized company.
