Course content:
The course offers pathways in politics, social policy, sociology, psychology, socio-legal studies, management and business; all students study core certificate-level modules that will develop their research awareness in information technology, research methodology and the philosophical underpinning of the social sciences; from the diploma stage onwards, students are offered pathway modules specialising in data analysis techniques and methodological debates and problems within their chosen discipline; the final MSc stage involves the completion of a research-based dissertation.
