Postgraduate Courses
The University of Aberdeen Business School offers a comprehensive selection of postgraduate programmes in business-related fields.
The Master’s programmes at the Business School consist of a number of compulsory core modules prior to specialist study pathways. The course structure for the first semester is designed to address a broad range of business-related subjects. In the second semester, students take different routes depending on their programme of choice. The final stage of the MSc programmes generally culminates with a dissertation, requiring students to apply their academic knowledge to a work related subject. MSc Real Estate and MSc International Real Estate Markets have the option to either undertake a dissertation or continue to an intensive summer school followed by the completion of a Case Study. The students on MBA programmes continue to an intensive summer school held over a five-week period, with one module per week (and a one week break in the middle). All taught modules are assessed by a combination of written examinations and coursework.
