Organisational Analysis Institution: University of East London Faculty: School of Social Sciences, Media and Cultural Studies Department: Social Sciences Level: Postgraduate Study modes: Part time Course content: The programme is designed to enhance participants' desire and capacity to find the freedom to make a difference in the changing world by developing their own practice of organisational analysis; the course draws on a range of frameworks for understanding the reality of the internal and external forces and factors which influence organisations and institutions in serving their purpose effectively in the wider social and public interest; systemic, psycho-dynamic, behavioural, theological, and spiritual frameworks are integrated in a distinctive framework which enables effective action to be taken; this framework explores how human beings can take authentic action through role and explores 4 domains of experience: the experience of being a person, the experience of being in a context, the experience of being in a system (organisation) and the experience of connectedness with source (the spiritual domain); each of these can be explored and explained using many conceptual models drawn from a range of disciplines.
