The programme is designed to broaden your specialist knowledge gained at the professional level; in particular the module on managing strategic change takes a holistic view of management and strategy within the changing organisation; the module covers the business tools; techniques and concepts used in scanning the business environment for potential changes; analysing the potential implications of differing scenarios; strategies and processes before developing responses to potential changes; research methods covers the introduction to research; types of research methodology; formulating and planning a research project; data collection and analysis and presentation of research findings; following successful completion of the modules course members undertake a dissertation related to an aspect of strategic significance for the organisation.
