Creativity and Enterprise Institution: Plymouth University Faculty: Arts Department: School of Art and Media Level: Postgraduate Study modes: Part time, Full time Course content: This flexible programme provides an exciting opportunity for students to extend a creative and cultural practice alongside the investigation, development and application of the essential skills associated with good business practice, enterprise development and entrepreneurship; the provision enables students to develop a focussed, specialist or multi-disciplinary approach to work, whilst encouraging the effective application of skill and knowledge to engage creatively with an envolving enterprise context and support career developments and creative aspirations; the breadth and focus of the award intends to embrace both practitioners and administrators from the arts, creative and cultural sectors (visual arts and media, 3D and applied design, creative technologies, theatre and performance, arts and cultural management, etc); activities varies in line with individual priorities and specialisms, however, investigation, development and exploitation of enterprise opportunities will be central to the programme's philosophy, delivery and expectations; the programme ethos encourages innovation, originality and enterprise, underpinned by experience, knowledge and expertise in a creative and cultural context and through the investigation and application of research and theory.
